Lester E. Osborn, CCIM, SIOR
Lester, the founding principal of Piedmont Properties, has over 30 years of experience in all phases of real estate planning from site selection, valuation, project feasibility analysis, financing, development, and sale/lease negotiations. He began his professional career in the trucking business by working in operations and logistics for McLean Trucking and Southeastern Freight Lines. This experience led him to begin Piedmont Properties where he is able to better understand his clients’ needs and bring a unique perspective to each transaction.
Lester is actively involved in 24 Hours of Booty, which raises funds and awareness for cancer survivors and research.
A. Scott Hensley, CCIM, SIOR
As part of Charlotte's business community since 1994, Scott is one of the area’s leading commercial real estate brokers. Scott uses his real estate experience, local relationships, and market knowledge to quickly and efficiently evaluate client needs, educate them on current market conditions, and help them make good real estate decisions. His project experience ranges from working with the existing property inventory to taking raw land through the entitlement and zoning process, to full development and occupancy. Earlier in his professional life, he worked in sales and marketing with IBM in Richmond and Roanoke, Virginia.
Scott joined Piedmont Properties in 1999 and served as President of the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors in 2012.
Christian Samartino, SIOR
Christian is a Charlotte native and has been a part of the Piedmont Properties team since 2016. After starting his career in Atlanta, GA brokering industrial warehouse, flex, and truck terminal transactions, Christian broadened his approach to work with clients across the Southeast. Through representing a mixture of entrepreneurial investors and national industrial companies, Christian brings a unique approach, focusing on heavy industrial properties with potential upside and/or redevelopment opportunity. His project experiences range from third-party brokerage of industrial warehouses to acquiring, investing, developing, leasing, and selling industrial properties.
Over the past five years, Christian has completed over 100 transactions with an aggregate value exceeding $90,000,000 on behalf of various investor and owner/user clients.
Frank A. Mccleneghan
Frank is a native Charlottean and has developed many long-lasting relationships with decision makers in the Charlotte business community. Since starting his real estate career in 1984, Frank has focused on office leasing/sales, tenant representation, and land assemblage, especially in the Midtown and South End neighborhoods of Charlotte. Frank has represented numerous landlords with space in Atherton Mill, Camden Village, and on South Boulevard (Westport Big & Tall). He has also represented users in the area such as Hill Partners, Michael DeMayo, Modern Fabrics, and Liquid Design.
Frank has actively been a part of the growing neighbors surrounding Uptown, and is well-versed in land, retail, office, and multi-family.
James h. Plyler
Jim is a Charlotte native and has over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate both in and around the Charlotte Metropolitan area. After working for a large national bank and a major motor carrier, Jim began his real estate career as a commercial broker with Southern Real Estate. He then became a First Vice President for CBRE before joining AAC Real Estate. There he was responsible for the development and leasing of close to 1,000,000 square feet of industrial, office, and flex space at their Whitehall Development and Shopton Ridge Business Park.
Jim served six years on the Charlotte Mecklenburg Planning Commission to review zoning cases. He also served on the Mecklenburg County, Union County, Metropolitan Planning Organization (MUMPO) which plans and sets priorities for future road projects in the metropolitan area.
Stewart Hasty
Stewart joined Piedmont Properties in 2021 and focuses on tenant and buyer representation for industrial warehouse, flex and manufacturing users. Over the past several years as an industrial expert, Stewart has consulted and transacted with large global companies, manufacturers, and logistics companies. Stewart is experienced in all aspects of corporate real estate including lease negotiation and restructuring, strategic planning, portfolio optimization, build-to-suit oversight, and site selection consulting. His experienced has also included the disposition of single and multi-tenant industrial facilities and the marketing and sales of major tracts of land.
As a Charlotte native, and with a passion for service to the community, Stewart also works with non-profit organizations as it relates to their real estate portfolios. He has worked with multiple groups including charter schools, religious organizations and other not-for-profits to assist in developing and implementing a real estate strategy to best serve their unique requirements.
Stewart's focus is on providing transformational outcomes for his client's. Outcomes that are accomplished through deep market intelligence, tactical negotiations, attention to detail and above and beyond client care.
BLAKE OSBORN
Blake is an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in construction management, client communication, and cost control. He has a proven track record of successfully managing construction projects, coordinating with clients and contractors, and implementing efficient management techniques. He is adept at overseeing project development from concept to completion, with a keen focus on budget management and project efficiency.
After getting his NC real estate license in 2023, Blake joined the Piedmont Properties team. He has already completed multiple successful transactions in the Charlotte market and offers a unique prospective on the real estate industry. During his time at Piedmont, he has focused on landlord representation and leasing industrial and flex spaces.
Amy Fleming
Amy is a skilled and detail-oriented accountant with expertise in both residential and commercial property management accounting. A Tennessee native, she combines her deep understanding of financial systems with a positive, solutions-focused approach to navigate complex financial landscapes with ease.
She earned her degree in Accounting and Business Management from the University of Memphis, equipping her with a strong foundation in financial analysis, budgeting, and business operations. Known for her optimism and meticulous attention to detail, Amy ensures accuracy and transparency in every project she undertakes.
When she’s not crunching numbers, Amy enjoys spending time with her beloved dachshunds, Wolfgang and Roscoe; Knitting, and exploring the vibrant city of Charlotte she calls home.
Becca Jolley
Becca joined the Piedmont Properties team in September 2019. In her role as Marketing Coordinator, Becca runs all aspects of marketing for both the company and individual properties using digital, email, social media, and direct marketing. She has previously worked in marketing roles for a commercial real estate firm in Greenville, SC and a student housing complex in Clemson, SC.
Becca graduated from Clemson University with a double degree in Marketing (BS) and Financial Management (BS) with an emphasis in Real Estate.
